Reading is famous for the music of "Sumer is icumen in" which came from its library. The original manuscript is on display in the British Library in the John Ritblat Gallery. 'Sumer is icumen in' from a manuscript of the thirteenth century written at Reading Abbey , a version in stone to be seen on the wall of the Abbey Cloister.
