West Street

2.4  Listed Building, formerly the Mitre Hotel now Thai Corner. Built 1800 or earlier.

2.5  West Street Hall. Dated 1887. Its elaborate terracotta decoration makes it a distinctive building.
The inscription above the first floor "WI Palmer Memorial Building" commemorates William Isaac Palmer of the Palmer family, proprietors of Huntley and Palmers biscuit manufacturers.
