THE REFECTORY EAST END |
The south wall of the Refectory ends at its east in a pillar adjoining the path from the cloister down to the Kennet. Unlike the stretch of the all to the west, here the surface shows limextone blocks still in place or where limestone blocks once faced it but have been taken away for reuse elsewhere leaving negative impressions. | |
